ABOUT
Nautica 'ENOMIS' Simone (b. Toronto, Ontario) is a photographer and multidisciplinary creative whose work explores the quiet intimacy of BIPOC life, wellness, and memory.
For Nautica, a photograph is the byproduct of an experience—one rooted in trust, stillness, and presence. Her goal in every session is for her subjects to feel seen. Blending elements of documentary, street, and intimate portraiture, she captures people not as they perform, but as they are. Her imagery creates space for softness, self-definition, and the layered realities of BIPOC stories.
With a background in mindful living and visual storytelling, Nautica uses the camera to create moments of stillness—images where softness becomes sacred and presence becomes protest. Her portraits exist between the candid and the intentional, often blending documentary, street, and intimate modes of image-making. Grounded in lived experience, her work invites viewers to slow down, bear witness, and see themselves reflected.
